  • 2 lbs ripe guava
  • 2 cups sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ cup water
  • Pinch of cinnamon

📝 Instructions

  1. 1Wash guavas, cut into quarters, and boil in water until very soft.
  2. 2Push through a sieve to remove seeds, collecting smooth pulp.
  3. 3Combine pulp, sugar, lime juice, and cinnamon in a heavy pot.
  4. 4Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly for 40-50 minutes.
  5. 5The mixture will thicken and pull away from the sides of the pot.
  6. 6Pour into a greased pan and let cool completely.
  7. 7Cut into squares. Serve with cheese or crackers.
