What is Star Apple?
Star apple, known as caimito, is a magical-looking tropical fruit. When cut crosswise, the seeds form a beautiful star pattern. The flesh is sweet, milky-white or purple, with a creamy custard-like texture. It's a cherished dessert fruit across the Caribbean.
